He isn’t called the King of Pop for nothing. From that halting stare that lasted almost 2 minutes to the incredible dance moves, Michael Jackson brought the house down. Can we declare Prince’s appearance at the Big Game in 2007 the best halftime performance ever? Not only did he play the guitar with expert precision but he did it all in the rain, while playing Purple Rain! It really doesn’t get any cooler than that.
A force to be reckoned with, Beyoncé brought her signature fierce moves to the Big Game stage. Who could forget the all-girl band, the pyrotechnics and high-energy moves? As if that wasn’t exciting enough she gave us a mini Destiny’s Child reunion!
Talk about worlds colliding. The Big Game in 2001 brought together the likes of Aerosmith, ‘N SYNC, Britney Spears, Nelly and Mary J. Blige to create a veritable pop explosion! The boy band of the moment, ‘N Sync opened the show with an explosive “Bye Bye Bye” and was topped off with a group performance of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way”.
