RCN Adds NFL Network and NFL RedZone from NFL Network “To Go”

With “Watch NFL Network,” RCN customers can catch every NFL touchdown on Sunday from anywhere in the U.S.

PRINCETON, NJ – November 25, 2014 – – RCN, an industry-leading competitive provider of high-speed Internet, digital TV and phone services, announces the launch of subscriber access through the NFL's "Watch NFL Network" applications. RCN Digital TV customers who receive the networks as part of their cable service can now utilize the “Watch NFL Network” application to view NFL Network and NFL RedZone anywhere in the United States on Internet-connected computers, tablets and Xbox One.

With “Watch NFL Network,” RCN TV customers can view live streams of NFL Network Thursday Night Football games, the morning show NFL AM, and Sunday NFL GameDay shows. With NFL RedZone from NFL Network, RCN TV customers can see every touchdown of every game on Sunday afternoons during the regular season. In addition, football fans will be able to view comprehensive coverage of NFL Events such as the NFL Scouting Combine, NFL Draft, Free Agency and NFL Training Camp, along with original Emmy Award-winning series from NFL Films.

To access “Watch NFL Network” on laptops, RCN Digital TV subscribers with NFL Network or with NFL Network and NFL RedZone can go to NFL.com/Watch.

Users would then complete the following steps:

• Choose RCN from the provider drop-down menu
• Sign in with a MyRCN user name and password
• Make a viewing selection and begin watching

Tablet users who are RCN Digital TV subscribers with NFL Network or with NFL Network and NFL RedZone can download the “Watch NFL Network” app for free by visiting the iTunes App Store, the Windows Store or the Google Play store.

NFL Network is included in RCN's Digital Premier Total Pack. NFL RedZone, which airs on Sundays throughout the regular season, is available as a separate subscription premium service.
