OVATION and OVATION HD Launch in NYC
Santa Monica, CA – January 16, 2014 – Continuing to add subscribers early in the New Year, Ovation has launched on RCN’s New York City system on channel 138. RCN NY has also launched Ovation HD on channel 591. The announcement was made today by Brad Samuels, EVP, Content Distribution, Ovation.
“2014 is definitely off to a really strong start for Ovation,” said Samuels. “We have set some aggressive goals for the network this year and this launch with RCN is another great indication of our momentum in the distributor community. Ovation provides viewers with a unique mix of original series and specials and selectively curated arts-centric documentaries, films and series. This month, Ovation premieres the highly anticipated original series, The Fashion Fund, on January 22nd. RCN NY customers will also enjoy Ovation’s signature series The Art Of, which is now in its second season, and a new and exciting programming slate to be rolled out through 2014.
