To celebrate their partnership and dedication of the staff, RCN Boston’s Ice Cream Truck broke the heat with a visit to Dana Farber Cancer Institute to deliver frozen treats to approximately 1,000 caregivers, volunteers and patients on Tuesday, July 26.
RCN Boston announced today that it will be sending its popular ice cream truck to two North End Against Drugs (N.E.A.D.) events.
RCN Boston team walked the streets of Boston’s Back Bay inviting people to donate to the Salvation Army for the 3rd Annual Red Kettle Run.

The Jimmy Fund Walk raises money to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's lifesaving mission to conquer all forms of cancer in children and adults. This year RCN Boston was on-site giving sunglasses and other free goodies to walkers and volunteers at the Boston College starting point. RCN Boston also had their ice cream truck at the finish line in Copley Square with free treats for the finishers!
This year JAM’N 94.5 held an exclusive concert event at the House of Blues featuring Rita Ora, Pia Mia, Jidenna, Silento and more! 10 lucky RCN customers and a guest were treated to a VIP experience in the Foundation Room with assorted food and beverages and meet and greets with the artists. Winners also received a selfie stick in their RCN swag bag to help document the experience!
RCN Boston proudly sponsored the 2015 Boston Comic Con held at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. This ultimate comic convention guest starred Stan Lee, creator of Marvel Comics, Billie Piper of “Doctor Who”, Robin Lord Taylor of “Gotham” and Thomas Jane of “The Punisher”.
This year RCN Boston paired up with Bridge Over Troubled Waters for their first annual charity golf tournament at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland. Thanks to the generosity of RCN Boston’s employees and local partners, they were able to donate over $16,000 to Bridge Over Troubled Waters to aid in their mission of transforming the lives of runaway, homeless, and high-risk youth.
RCN Boston was very excited to sponsor the Rob Gronkowski Pro Camp for boys and girls grades 1 through 8 at Melrose High School. The New England’s Patriot’s tight end gave professional tips and instruction and of course, some humor. The campers experienced various stations specializing in fundamental football skills in addition to touch football games. RCN Boston also brought their ice cream truck along, providing free frozen treats to campers and their families.
RCN Sponsored the March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies that for the first time ever was held at historic Fenway Park. This walk honors babies born healthy and those that need help to survive and thrive.
RCN Boston participated in an cycle spinning event that helped raised money to prevent and end homelessness in Boston. Home Start is dedicated to providing temporary security and shelter.

House of Blues Boston hosts great concerts and shows throughout the year and RCN is proud to be an official sponsor. This year, RCN Boston ran ticket giveaways for these amazing artists- Joe Nichols, Hozier, the Dropkick Murphys, Stone Temple Pilots, Juicy J, Marina and the Diamonds, Miguel and more.
