Call Trace
Directions for Activating Call Trace:
1. After hanging up from a call you wish to trace, pick up the receiver and listen for a dial tone
2. Dial *57 (1157 for rotary and pulse dialing phones)
3. Listen for the recording and follow the instructions carefully
4. The number of the last call that the customer received will be reported to RCN

Three-Way Calling Per Use
New York and Philadelphia Activation:
1. Press and release your switch-hook or flash button
2. Your first conversation is now on hold
3. Listen for three quick beeps followed by a dial tone
4. Dial the number of the person you want to include in your existing conversation
5. Press and release your switch-hook or flash button again
6. All three parties will now be connected
7. If the number you have dialed is busy or there is no answer, press your switch-hook or flash button twice to return to your original conversation
 
Massachusetts, Lehigh Valley (Pennsylvania) Activation:
1. Press your switch-hook or flash button
2. Your first conversation is now on hold
3. Dial *71 plus the number of the person you want to include in your conversation
4. Press your switch-hook or flash button again
5. All three parties will now be connected
6. If the number you have dialed is busy or there is no answer, press your switch-hook or flash button twice to return to your original conversation

*69 Call Return
To Activate Call Return:
1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone
2. Dial *69 (1169 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
3. A voice announcement will provide the telephone number, date, and time of your last incoming phone call
4. The voice announcement will offer to return this call automatically
5. Press 1 if you would like to return the call
6. If the called party is busy, listen for the confirmation announcement and hang up
7. *69 will attempt to connect you to this number for the next 30 minutes
8. Your phone will ring distinctively when the connection is made
9. Pick up the phone and wait for the called party to answer
 
To Cancel Call Return:
1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone
2. Dial *89 (1189 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
3. Listen for confirmation announcement
4. Hang up

*66 Repeat Call
To Activate:
1. Hang up after you receive a busy signal
2. Lift the receiver and listen for a dial tone
3. Dial *66 (1166 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
4. A voice announcement will instruct you to hang up
5. Repeat Dialing will try to make a connection for the next 30 minutes
6. When the call is connected, your phone will ring distinctively
7. Pick up the phone and wait for the called party to answer
 
To Deactivate:
1. Lift the receiver and listen for a dial tone
2. Dial *86 (1186 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
3. A voice announcement will state that your Repeat Dial feature has been deactivated
4. Hang up

Per Use Call Block
To Activate After an Unwanted Call is Received:
1. Unwanted call is received
2. Hang up
3. Lift receiver and listen for a dial tone
4. Dial *60 (1160 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
5. Listen to recording and follow the instructions carefully
 
To Activate After Dialing a Specific Number:
1. Dial the number from which you do not want to receive calls
2. Hang up
3. Lift receiver and listen for a dial tone
4. Dial *60 (1160 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
5. Listen to recording and follow the instructions carefully
 
To Deactivate Call Block:
1. Lift receiver and listen for a dial tone
2. Dial *80 (1180 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
3. Listen to voice recording and follow the instructions carefully

Per Use Caller ID Blocking
To Activate:
1. Lift receiver and listen for a dial tone
2. Dial *67 (1167 for rotary phones and pulse-dialing phones)
3. Listen for the dial tone
4. Dial the telephone number of the person you wish to call
 
To Deactivate:
1. Per Use Caller ID Blocking will automatically deactivate after you hang up
